Lot Requester

Description

Allows the sales team to request specific lots for certain sales order lines. This can be used where all produced lots are not exactly the same, for instance heat numbers of ceramic tiles or packs of wood with different contents, potentially discounting stock that is near its end date.

Note that this will not enforce the warehouse staff to use this lot, nor will it allocate the lots in the MRP system. However, it will give visibility to the warehouse staff what is the correct lot to send on a certain order or if they are using a requested lot on a different order.
